THE STANDARD

The Zakala Engineering Standard

A promise never enters production.

Every decision leaves an artefact. Every artefact can be reviewed. Every version can be stopped. The Standard describes the stages, roles and evidence required to move from a possibility to a decision.

SEQUENCE

Seven stages. One clear decision.

    FRAME

    Define the problem, scope, exclusions and stop condition.

    SOURCE

    Tie every claim to a dated document or remove it.

    SPECIFY

    Write the expected behaviour and acceptance criteria before construction.

    BUILD

    Execute the specification without freedom over names, prices or scope.

    TEST

    Prove by measurement, never by description.

    Submit the result to a contradictory review independent from construction.

    SEAL

    Freeze the version, timestamp it and publish its fingerprint where appropriate.

ROLES

Four responsibilities. None replaces another.

  • ARCHITECTURE

    defines the problem, model, content and criteria.

  • CONSTRUCTION

    produces the requested version and technical evidence.

  • AUDIT

    looks for gaps, contradictions and risks that construction did not see.

  • DECISION

    authorises, refuses, grants a derogation or closes.

Tools change. Responsibilities remain. The same actor must not turn its own delivery into sufficient evidence of compliance.

SEALING REGISTER

A version is not an intention.

The public register brings together documents that can be named without exposing confidential content: title, version, date, fingerprint and audit verdict. When no public entry is ready, only one statement appears: "The public sealing register is being prepared for publication."

What we refused, and why.

A method is not measured only by what it builds. It is also measured by the capital, time and credibility it refuses to waste.

  1. 01

    A NAME DROPPED

    LearnyBox was intended to carry the education offering. A prior-rights check led us to abandon it. The offering is called IZUXE EduOne.

  2. 02

    FIGURES REMOVED

    Market-size figures appeared on the website. Their sources did not withstand verification. They were removed rather than disguised.

  3. 03

    A DEMONSTRATION REFUSED

    A simulator was intended for the home page. Without an executable engine, the demonstration would have been staging.

A negative decision can be the most valuable proof in a programme.

What has passed the method must now meet a market.
